Light Havarti & Pear Crostini


Ingredients:

  • 4–6 oz Daneko Light Havarti cheese, sliced

  • 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch pieces

  • 1–2 ripe pears (such as Bosc or Bartlett), thinly sliced

  • Honey, for drizzling

  • Olive oil

  • Optional: fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp.

  2. Place a slice of Daneko Light Havarti on each piece of toast. Top with a few slices of pear.

  3. Return the crostini to the oven for 3–5 minutes, just until the Havarti starts to melt.

  4. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then drizzle each crostini with honey.

  5. Sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves an herby touch.
